The Autumn 2008 SAUG Conference took place on 14th October at the Telelogic Training Centre, Oxford.

The Spring 2008 SAUG Conference took place on 15th April at the Swan Hotel, Streatley. Once again, we had a full and exciting agenda at a great location and the weather was excellent.

The agenda included an update from Telelogic on whats new in System Architect and the future direction of the product; user stories from John Ochiltree of the House of Commons on Coordinating groups using SA across different architectural boundaries, and from Alan Reep of ABP on Customising SA to suit your needs; Dave Longley will kicked off the afternoon with his take on how to get buy-in to SA in your organisation; and of course, there were the ever-popular break-out sessions, giving us the opportunity to share our experiences of SA and feed our recommendations back to Telelogic.

SAUG AUTUMN CONFERENCE 2006

Summary
The SAUG Autumn Conference took place on Wednesday 15th November 2006 at the renowned Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, South Wales. We were able to use this superb venue because we were holding the SAUG Conference on Day 2 of the Telelogic User Group Conference 14th-15th November.

The Conference
The SAUG Autumn Conference took place on Wednesday 15th November at the renowned Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, South Wales. We were able to use this superb venue because we were holding the SAUG Conference on Day 2 of the Telelogic User Group Conference 14th-15th November.
We enjoyed an exciting agenda of user and Telelogic speakers, together with the ever-popular break-out sessions. Delegates were offered the choice of attending the SAUG Conference Day only or the full two-day Telelogic User Group Conference. There was ample opportunity for delegates to network at the coffee and lunch breaks and at the gala dinner on the evening of Tuesday 14th November for those attending both days.

SAUG SPRING CONFERENCE 2006
Tuesday, May 09, 2006 to Wednesday, May 10, 2006 Streatley (on the Thames), Berkshire
Summary
The Spring 2006 SAUG Conference takes place on 9-10 May at the Swan Hotel, Streatley.
As ever, you can look forward to a full and exciting conference agenda. Day 1 will have an IT and standards focus, and will include Alan Reep of ABP in the Netherlands speaking on Using SA to help enforce standards; Daniel Gantner of ETH (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology) Zurich will present on Business modelling and calculation; and a session on Standards for Business process Modelling. The focus of Day 2 will be User Stories we will hear from Anthony Cadley of Norwich Union on Documenting Business processes with SA and Michel Vrommen of Shell Gas and Power International on Improving your Business with SA.
There will be a product and futures update from Telelogic; and on each day there will be a break-out session in line with the focus for the day, giving us once again our opportunity to air the issues and requirements that are most dear to our hearts, and so feed them into the product development plans.
There will be space for exhibitors to display their wares, and ample opportunity for delegates to network at the coffee and lunch breaks.
Evenings at the conference
The SAUG Conference Dinner will be held at the hotel on Tuesday 9 May, and all delegates are very welcome to join us. Telelogic have kindly offered to sponsor the cost of this meal, so there will be no cost to individual delegates. If you are interested, please let us know via the conference booking form.
For delegates arriving at the hotel on Monday 8th May, there will be an informal committee dinner, but all are welcome. If you are interested in joining in, please get in touch with the committee. Please note, additional charges apply for this meal.
Cost and booking information
The SAUG Conference is, as always, open to SAUG members and non-members. The cost to members is 230, to non-members 345 (115 and 172-50 respectively for single day attendance) please go to the on-line conference booking form.
If you wish to have an exhibition stand at the conference, the cost is 575 for a full display stand, 862.50 for a full display stand plus 15 min presentation.. Again, please go to the on-line booking form.

Summary
The Autumn 2005 SAUG Conference takes place on 8 November at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Marlow. It is followed immediately on 9-10 November by the 2-day Telelogic User Group Conference, at the same venue, which delegates are invited to attend, at no additional charge.
Once again, we have a full and exciting conference agenda. From the user community, we have Peter Hagemann of Kuehne + Nagel speaking on "Documenting the Application Landscape at Kuehne + Nagel with SA"; Stephen Gardiner of SITA GB will present on “Using SA for project monitoring”; and Mike Lovett of British Airways will tell us about his experiences of using System Architect at BA.
From Telelogic, John Crouchley will give us his usual take on what’s new in System Architect and what the future holds; and the break-out session will give us a chance to air the issues and requirements that are most dear to our hearts, and so feed them into the product development plans.
There will be space for exhibitors to display their wares, and ample opportunity for delegates to “network” at the coffee and lunch breaks.

Evenings at the conference
The Telelogic User Conference Gala Dinner will be held on Wednesday 9 November, featuring Tony Hawkes as the after dinner speaker. The cost of the Gala Dinner is £35. If you are interested, please book via the Telelogic web site.
On the evening of Tuesday 8 November, there will be a drinks reception hosted by Telelogic – SAUG delegates are invited to attend.
