The Committee Chairman - Paul Drake Paul is currently the Data Architect at TUI UK & Ireland - owners of Thomson & First Choice holiday brands. In a previous life, Paul worked for Interbrew UK as Data Architect where he was the main user of and administrator for System Architect. During his 5-year period at Interbrew he was a keen member of the SAUG and was SAUG Treasurer for several years. Paul left the fold when he moved to T-Systems who did not use SA. After 4 years in the Data Modelling Wilderness (i.e. as an ERwin user!) Paul joined TUI and is once again an SA user and administrator. Foolishly he contacted the committee ans asked if there were any vacancies and was immediately earmarked for Chairman! In his spare time Paul enjoys cooking but his main passion is for Fencing. He likes nothing better than to spend a Saturday or Sunday meeting new people and trying to stab them! He is currently ranked in the top 200 epeeists in the UK. Webmaster - Simon Duxbury Simon Duxbury is a member of the Information Management team within Nationwide's IT Enterprise Architecture department. He has been a happy user of System Architect since 2003. IBM Rational Representative - Stephen Holden Steve ... Secretary and Treasurer - Arif Hussain Arif is an independent Technical Consultant who has worked in IT for over 20 years. In his 7 years at DHL, he was responsible for the introduction and administration of System Architect. He customized it to store processes, procedures, business rules and the entire DHL GIS process. Wrote extensive VBA reports to generate quality documentation out of System Architect as well as generating web sites using Information Web Publisher. After DHL, he went on to project manage the EA tool evaluation project for Shell and again recommended a certain tool! Prior to that he spent 7 years at MSP a mainframe Data Dictionary/Repository vendor and has been with the User Group since 2002. He was also the SAUG Webmaster for 2 years. | |||||
